My name is Rowan Robinson, and I am a Music Manager and Fly Fisherman based in Sydney, Australia.

With a passion for Fly Fishing and travel, I am in constant search of new water. Whether in the pristine mountain rivers of New Zealand or amongst the remote sandy cays of the Exmouth Gulf.

Fly Fishing has been (and continues to be) a major part of my life. I love every aspect of it, from the technical side of the gear and equipment, to the understanding and study of the fish themselves. But most of all I love the places that Fly Fishing takes me. I used to think that there was no place in the world I would rather be than in the mountains, until recently when I discovered a similar feeling in the saltwater locations in the North of Australia. Now I am starting a new chapter in my Fly Fishing quest, as I discover the vast complexities of saltwater Fly Fishing.
Ultimately though, I am obsessed with nature and wilderness, and I think that perhaps Fly Fishing is just an excuse to immerse myself in it.
I have had a unique career in the music industry over the past 20 years and I am so grateful for everything that music has given me. I have been lucky enough to work closely with some of Australia's most successful musicians and proud to say that I have played a part in their success. I have built several successful music businesses and festival brands, and I have toured all over the world with artists that I manage. Some of my fondest memories are from when I have been able to weave Fly Fishing into these travels. I have fished across the USA and Canada while on tour, and even in the forests on the outskirts of Berlin, Germany.
Music has certainly played a part in my Fly Fishing career, but I would say most significantly that Fly Fishing has played an especially important role in my music career.
